Here we've cut out and boxed in our clients new driveway. This is a great way to prepare a solid foundation, especially in softer soils. The boxing allows us to lay a thick layer of rubble which is compacted with a vibrating roller, followed by your stone of choice (which is also rolled in to compact). Here we've installed a layer of bluestone wet mix which will form an extra strong surface and remain practical for years to come.

Two solid weeks done and dusted…yes literally DUSTed! 🙄
We’ve been busy installing lots of exciting features for Will and Bianca which will certainly benefit their equine business and ensure that any future wet weather doesn’t slow down their operation.

We’ve refurbished their horse arena, installed new gravel laneways, sourced and carted 17 loads of LARGE boulder 🪨 to create a retaining wall, installed numerous drainage systems and spoon drains to vulnerable areas, revamped their dam overflow, built a slab preparation for a horse walker which will soon be installed and a few extra jobs on the go.

There was never a dull moment nor was there a shortage of help from their family and friends. What a super network you have 👏

Thanks again @rocky75327 and @bianca_gilcrist for putting in all the extra hours of labour each day to keep this job rolling. We hope the arena rides well and the horses appreciate you for the improvements 🐴

The beginnings of something exciting for this horse training facility in Sulky run by @bianca_gilcrist and @rocky75327

What began with earth works to assist with the resurfacing of their horse arena quickly turned into a bigger project, retaining a clay bank which had started to collapse in the recent storms and a few other tasks to make farm life in wet weather more manageable.

A rock retaining wall should do the trick 👍 This project will be followed by extensive drainage in and around the arena, installation of a new arena surface and the grading and gravelling of roads and laneways around the property. We’ll also be preparing an area for a horse walker to be installed. 👏👏

Cannot wait to show off the finished product. The boys are well and truely into it 💪

Couldn't be more proud of our crew. A solid and often challenging year but our #team gave 110% every time!

With only hours to go before we knock off for a well earned break, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal clients, including local trades and businesses for the regular work, whether it be mowing or earthworks the support is appreciated.
